Discover ways to embody and heal the parts of yourself that have been shamed, forgotten, or left undiscovered
As womb carriers, we are born with special gifts that allow us to be in sync with nature and harness our intuitive knowledge to be beacons on this planet. Far too many of us have been taught not to trust ourselves and the innate wisdom of our bodies. We have been encouraged to doubt our fears and follow the norm.
But living in harmony with the cycle of the moons and seasons is a journey of slowing down to observe yourself and align with the universe. It’s an opportunity to get to the truth of who you are. And once you discover that, your life will begin to flourish.
Nourishment comes in many forms: food, people, sights, sounds. When we think of nourishment, we often just limit ourselves to food. But nourishment encompasses all substances necessary for growth and health. So many of us live our lives without being nourished. Not all foods nourish our bodies, not all environments nourish our souls. Nourishment is the cornerstone of Moons and Seasons.
As the womb carries, our bodies operate in cycles. The cycle begins with the beginning of our conception and continues for generations. And our cycles impact the world in a multitude of ways.
The majority of women’s menstruation cycles are aligned with the cycles of the moon. One average cycle can be anywhere between 27-35 days, with 29 days being the closest average. The word month is derived from moon and the etymology of the word menstruation is from the word month. Menstruation and cycles have always been associated with the creation of the calendar as we know it today. Our cycles were used to predict harvest periods, times for rest, and times for celebration. There was a time when the world was our menstruation cycle and women were the blueprint for the rhythm of this earth.
Our modern times have made it a bit more challenging to be in rhythm with our bodies and the planet. Moons and Seasons can help you connect with this rhythm, your birthright, and our answer to a brighter future. We are excited to travel alongside you through your Moons and Seasons journey. If you’re ready to begin, check out our Moons page to learn more about your moon.
We encourage women to keep a journal to track their cycle days and our daily journal is a great place to start.
